My approach to therapy involves a balance of validation and acceptance with skill building and growth. I strive to create a space where you feel safe to become your truest, most authentic self. We will work together to empower you to overcome any barrier to this goal. Whether you are working through past trauma, learning skills for managing anxiety, or finding healthy outlets for your emotions, I will walk with you. I am most passionate about working with parents, those involved in the child welfare system, and youth who have experienced trauma. By promoting self-care and healthy boundaries, I believe that anyone can achieve mental wellness. I received my bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Educational Studies from Alma College. I then went on to receive my master’s in Social Work from Wayne State University. I’ve had the immense privilege of working with people from a wide variety of backgrounds and welcome the opportunity to assist you.
