My Approach to Therapy

As a mom of five incredible kids who has survived complex posttraumatic stress (CPTSD), huge family losses, postpartum depression and anxiety, and chronic illness, I have taken an empowering path toward owning my story, building confidence, and purpose. My children show me the benefits of that in who they are, every day. It's not perfect, but it doesn't need to be. My extensive professional training and experience supporting parents, children, couples, and families for the past 23 years has prepared me to meet you where you are, keeping short- and long-term best possible outcomes in mind for your whole family's emotional well-being. You deserve to cultivate healthy relationships and not lose yourself in the process. And how you learn to support yourself better could make all the difference. Culturally Sensitive, Inclusive Care, and Raising Allies We have to level up our village to raise children in a time when hate and division are challenging our peace and freedom, quite literally. In group and private sessions, I aim to provide affirming support for a broad spectrum of individuals, couples, and families. This includes neurodivergent people, people with attention-deficit hyperactivity (ADHD), autistic people, Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), multiracial, multiethnic, interfaith, LGBT, and others who face challenges related to their identity. I love supporting parents who want to raise allies and changemakers who aren't threatened by differences.
