What's My Approach to Therapy?

You may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck in familiar patterns, or tired of carrying things on your own. Perhaps past experiences are surfacing, your relationships feel strained, or something inside you knows it is time for change. I work with individuals and couples who want more than coping strategies. They want meaningful healing. Using eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), comprehensive resource model (CRM), internal family systems (IFS), attachment-based approaches, and the Gottman Method, I help you gently explore what your nervous system has been holding and shift patterns that no longer serve you. Our work moves at a pace that feels safe and grounded. Together, we build clarity, self-trust, and stronger relationships, so you can feel more connected within yourself and with the people you care about.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

If you are on the fence about therapy, that makes sense. Reaching out can feel vulnerable. You may wonder if your struggles are serious enough, whether talking will actually help, or if you should just handle it on your own. Many of the people I work with felt the same way at first. Therapy does not require you to be in crisis. It is a space to pause, reflect, and better understand what has been shaping your thoughts, emotions, and relationships. We move at a pace that feels steady and respectful. You do not need to have everything figured out before you walk in. If you are curious but uncertain, a brief phone consultation can be a simple first step. We can talk about what is bringing you here and whether working together feels like the right fit.
