What's My Approach to Therapy?
I help burned-out women—especially moms who are carrying more than anyone sees—slow down, breathe again, and find their way back to themselves. If you’re overwhelmed, stretched thin, or running on fumes, you’re not alone. I understand what it feels like to juggle family, work, caregiving, mental health, and a never-ending to-do list.
My style is warm, grounding, and collaborative. I bring a mix of mindfulness, psychoeducation, and practical tools that help calm an overworked nervous system and make daily life feel more manageable. Together, we’ll untangle the patterns that keep you stuck in overwhelm, rebuild your sense of self, and create space for rest, connection, and relief.
I offer a gentle place to land, without judgment or pressure—just support, clarity, and room to breathe.
My Practice & Services
At Rise Gently Therapy in East Cobb, Marietta, I specialize in supporting women—especially burned-out moms, caregivers, and those navigating anxiety, overwhelm, or major life transitions. My practice is designed to feel calming, warm, and inviting so you can exhale the moment you walk in.
I offer individual therapy for women who are juggling family, work, caregiving, and a never-ending mental load. Many of my clients come in feeling exhausted, overstimulated, or disconnected from themselves, and they’re looking for a safe place to slow down, reset their nervous system, and feel supported by someone who truly understands.
Sessions are available both in-person in my Marietta office and online throughout Georgia. I draw from mindfulness-based strategies, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), strengths-based therapy, and trauma-informed, nervous-system-aware approaches. I also bring lived experience as a mom of neurodiverse kids and as a caregiver, which helps clients feel seen on a deeper level.
If you’re looking for a therapist who specializes in burnout, anxiety, overwhelm, parenting stress, and helping women reclaim their sense of balance and identity, you’re in the right place.
How Psychotherapy Can Help
Therapy gives burned-out women a place to finally breathe. If you?ve been carrying the emotional load for your family, caregiving for a child with special needs, managing anxiety, or simply running on fumes, psychotherapy can help you slow down, reconnect with yourself, and feel steady again.
Many of the women I work with come in feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or stuck in patterns of guilt and over-functioning. Together, we make sense of what?s happening in your nervous system, explore the beliefs that keep you pushing past your limits, and build practical tools to calm anxiety, ease burnout, and create healthier boundaries.
Psychotherapy helps you notice your needs without shame, respond instead of react, and replace survival mode with a grounded sense of control. You don?t have to navigate burnout, anxiety, or caregiving stress alone. Therapy offers a compassionate space to rediscover your strength, soften the pressure you?ve been carrying, and rise gently?one small step at a time.
