What's My Approach to Therapy?

I love working with individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds. I have a warm and direct approach, and I work with couples to communicate and hear each other in a safe and productive way. I use IMAGO therapy/Imago Relationship Therapy (IRT), which most couples find very positive and quickly gives hope. With my individual clients, we work to understand your needs and desires and ways to help you find your inner strengths to achieve them. I also bring in some coaching tools when helpful. I respect and highly value the client-therapist relationship.

Groups I Work With

  • I work with individual adults from college age, just starting out, to older adults and couples from the dating stage to married for many years. I work with couples before long-term commitment, and couples considering whether to stay together. In addition to couples therapy, where the goal is to stay together in a more connected, joyful way, I also offer discernment counseling, which is a short-term approach for couples where one or both are strongly considering separating but not 100% sure.
