What's My Approach to Therapy?
My approach to helping is collaborative, trauma-informed, and grounded in respect for each person’s lived experience. I believe meaningful change happens when we move at a pace that feels safe and sustainable, with attention to both insight and the body’s responses.
In our work together, I integrate traditional talk therapy with mindfulness and mind-body practices to support nervous system regulation, self-awareness, and resilience. This may include noticing patterns in thoughts and emotions while also tuning into physical sensations, breath, and internal cues. These tools help clients build capacity to stay present with difficult experiences rather than feeling overwhelmed by them.
I approach therapy with curiosity, warmth, and flexibility, adapting my style to each client’s needs and goals. I also hold an awareness of how larger systems and life contexts shape emotional well-being. My goal is to offer a supportive, grounded space where clients can better understand themselves, reconnect with their inner resources, and work toward lasting, meaningful change.
