What's My Approach to Therapy?

As a trauma therapist, I offer online counseling sessions for people overwhelmed by past events. Many people come to trauma therapy because their lifelong coping skills are not working anymore. It can feel like life is collapsing. Perhaps you feel crushed by trauma and think you don’t have the tools to manage it. Maybe you are overwhelmed with shame for causing trauma and feel broken and unredeemable. I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and change. I also believe that process is often difficult, painful, and non-linear. I am here to sit with you and walk alongside you in your counseling journey. This involves wandering through messiness, discomfort, and uncertainty together, as well as active collaboration in working through these experiences. Starting therapy is a courageous act. I am here when you are ready to begin therapy.
