My Approach to Helping

Women and children’s mental health is the focus of my counseling practice. I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a National Board Certified Counselor, but more importantly, I’m the mother of six in a blended family. Women are the "heart" of the family and our happiness or unhappiness effects everyone in the family. I want to help all women to reach their fullest potential at home, in the workplace and in relationships. My practice offers a warm, comfortable, safe and welcoming environment for women of all backgrounds and their children. Clients receive a free half hour consultation visit to discuss concerns and questions before beginning counseling. I accept insurance as an Out of Network Provider and offer a sliding scale fee in an effort to make counseling affordable for all.

More Info About My Practice

In addition to working with women, I have an extensive background working with children and teens. I have worked with children and teens for over twenty five years as a licensed mental health counselor, school educator and middle and high school guidance counselor. My experience inside the school setting equips me to advocate for your child and help navigate through the ins and outs of working with your child's school.
