I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and an AASECT Certified Sex Therapist (CST), couple, family systems, and relationship therapist, specializing in sexual health and and relationships, helping clients achieve pleasure, play, passion, fun, life satisfaction, happiness, and healing through self-growth and connection with significant others, primary partners and family members. I’m passionate about helping clients achieve satisfying intimacy, healthy sexuality, and enjoyable family relationships for optimal health including sexual health, relational health, mental health, and well-being. I utilize a mix of narrative therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness (MBCT), evidenced-based practices, and more. With twenty-two years of experience in helping clients with relationships, sexual health, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, trauma, parenting, problems related to substance use, illnesses, disabilities, aging, and more, I’m eager to meet you and help you reach your goals. My professional and real-world experience in the arts and in business for more than forty years has given me a broad, unique range of experience, earning a reputation for being highly effective, affable, and able to set clients at ease. I currently provide Telehealth and video-conferencing services only. The outcomes are equally as successful as in-person visits. I chose to become a specialist in sexual health, couples, and family work when I noticed a great need for satisfaction in relationships. Sex and Couples Therapy addresses a myriad of problems including relational anxiety, individual anxiety, depression, differences in desire levels or desire discrepancy, parenting styles, “sex addiction” or out-of-control sexual behavior, infidelity, disability, illness, sexual orientation, gender identity, traumatic experiences, substance use, and more, as well as problems related to privilege and equity in relationships. The core of my work is rooted in the idea that to be human is to be sexual and to achieve truly satisfying relationships that endure over time takes desire, empathy, effort, and intention.
