What's My Approach to Therapy?

I believe people make sense when we understand what they’ve lived through. My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that challenges like anxiety, burnout, relationship conflict, or feeling stuck are not personal failures — they are often understandable responses to stress, unmet needs, and past experiences.

I work from a trauma-informed, attachment-focused perspective, helping individuals and couples understand patterns that keep them feeling overwhelmed or disconnected. Together, we slow things down, build awareness, and create space for more intentional choices — both internally and in relationships. Therapy with me is collaborative and practical, focused on helping you feel more grounded, confident, and connected.

I aim to offer a space that feels safe, respectful, and non-judgmental, while also being honest and thoughtful. I’m not here to give quick fixes or clichés, but to help you make meaningful, sustainable changes at a pace that feels right for you. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, relationship stress, or a major life transition, my goal is to support you in understanding yourself more deeply and moving forward with greater clarity and self-compassion.

I offer sessions in ways that work for your schedule and location:

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

I love witnessing the courage it takes for people to show up in therapy, even when life feels overwhelming. There?s something deeply rewarding about helping individuals and couples explore their thoughts, feelings, and patterns, and then guiding them toward understanding, growth, and connection.

I enjoy supporting clients as they uncover their strengths, learn new ways of relating to themselves and others, and take steps toward more fulfilling lives. The moments of insight, relief, and hope that emerge in therapy - big or small - are what make this work meaningful every day.

Being a therapist allows me to combine empathy, practical guidance, and curiosity to help people navigate life?s challenges with more clarity, resilience, skill, and self-compassion.

Groups I Work With

I work with adults and couples who are navigating a wide range of life and relationship challenges. Many of the people I support are thoughtful, capable individuals who are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected — often while managing significant responsibilities at work, at home, or in caregiving roles.

    I commonly work with:

    - Adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, or burnout, including those who feel emotionally exhausted, or are struggling to keep up with daily demands

    - Couples facing communication difficulties, emotional distance, conflict, trust concerns, or the impact of affairs

    - Individuals and couples navigating life transitions, such as relationship changes, separation or divorce, parenting shifts, career changes, health challenges, or grief and loss

    - Professionals and caregivers who carry high responsibility, and often prioritize others’ needs over their own

    - People impacted by trauma or chronic stress, including developmental or relational trauma, who want to better understand patterns shaped by past experiences

    - Individuals seeking greater self-understanding, emotional regulation, and healthier boundaries in relationships

I welcome clients at different stages of readiness — whether you are looking to create an action plan, or simply sensing that something needs to change. My work is grounded in respect, collaboration, and meeting you where you are.
