What's My Approach to Therapy?
Many clients reach out when life feels heavier than they expected. You may be trying to stay composed for others while carrying stress that shows up as worry, tension, or sudden emotional reactions. If this resonates, you’re in the right place. I use trauma-informed approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), accelerated experiential dynamic psychotherapy (AEDP), mindfulness, and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR)-based work to help you understand what’s affecting you, and build steadier emotional patterns. My role is to offer a calm place to step out of survival mode, make sense of what’s been weighing on you, and begin creating a more stable way forward.
I work with adults and adolescents who are dealing with anxiety, trauma, or stress that interferes with daily life. In our sessions, we make sense of what is happening underneath, and focus on small, workable shifts that support you instead of adding pressure. I also work with families and couples to help them thrive together, and overcome daily obstacles.
If you’ve been trying to manage more than feels sustainable, you’re not alone. I offer a calm space to pause, and make sense of what’s been wearing you down. When you're ready for steadier days and a clearer path forward, I’m here to help you begin that work with support.
