I am a licensed therapist specializing in trauma therapy and grief therapy, offering online and in-person sessions. Healing isn’t about returning to who we were. It’s about allowing ourselves to grow into someone new. My practice is guided by the principle of Sankofa (“to go back and fetch it”), which represents the courage to look back on our lives, honor where we’ve been, and carry the wisdom of those experiences forward into our growth. Every part of your story matters, including the pain. I will be your guide and a witness, holding space as you heal from the past and rediscover your strength, meaning, and voice. As a Black woman, I create a safe, healing space for people within Black and rural communities who may not always feel seen or supported in traditional mental health settings. My approach is also affirming of people in the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer or questioning, intersex, asexual, and more (LGBTQIA+) community. I also welcome people who are polyamorous or ethically non-monogamous (ENM) and those exploring identity, non-religious spirituality, and alternative lifestyles. I offer a warm, gentle therapeutic space for young and older adults of any gender. Healing begins when we are truly seen and accepted. Whether you are navigating trauma, seeking grief therapy, facing burnout, or seeking connection and meaning, I will meet you where you are and walk alongside you as you rediscover yourself without judgment and uncover your path forward.
