What's My Approach to Therapy?
We are the stories we tell ourselves about ourselves. Unfortunately, for a lot of us, we aren’t the only ones writing the story. Trauma, transitions, anxiety, depression, abuse, grief, relationships—you name it—they have a way of stealing your pen from you. My goal is to help put the pen back into your hand, honor the complexity of your story, and help you transform your trauma. Together, we will find the peace, freedom, and life meaning that you deserve.
As an integrative, trauma-informed therapist, I specialize in childhood trauma and sexual trauma. I tailor my theoretical approach to fit each individual and couple, often utilizing Internal Family Systems (IFS), Inner Child Work, Existential Therapy, and Gottman Method. I’m an out-of-the-box, abstract thinker with the belief that no two people are alike. Wherever you are, wherever you’ve been, I will meet you there.
I aim to create a space completely free of judgment—one where there are no crazy thoughts, no taboo topics, and no feelings that are too big. Whether you’re looking to heal from trauma, grow in your relationship, manage a mood or psychotic disorder, deal with self-sabotaging behaviors, or just shoot the breeze, I'm here for you.
