What's My Approach to Therapy?

Great to meet you!

When you work with me, you can expect a calm, supportive, and collaborative space where you don’t have to filter or explain yourself. I strive to create an environment where your experiences and emotions are genuinely welcomed, and where you can show up just as you are.

I work at a pace that feels right for you. Together, we’ll slow things down and gently explore what’s going on beneath the surface—your hopes, fears, and the patterns that tend to show up in your relationships and inner world. My role isn’t to judge or push you before you’re ready, but to help you feel understood, supported, and less alone with what you’re carrying.

With over a decade of experience, and as a partner and parent myself, I deeply understand how central connection is to our well-being. I also know how painful and confusing it can be when relationships don’t work the way we want them to. My goal is to walk alongside you as you make sense of your experiences and move toward more fulfilling, authentic connections.

My Practice & Services

I’m someone who deeply cares about helping individuals and couples find their way through moments when relationships feel stuck, fragile, or overwhelming. For over a decade, I’ve walked alongside people as they navigate disconnection, old hurts, major life changes, and patterns that no longer serve them.

At the heart of my work is a belief in the healing power of feeling truly seen and emotionally safe with another person. I focus on creating space for honest connection, understanding what’s happening beneath the surface, and supporting your natural ability to grow and heal. My goal is to help you reconnect—with yourself and with the people who matter most—in ways that feel more steady, open, and alive.

My Role as a Therapist

What you can expect from me
In our first session, my hope is that you feel welcomed, seen, and comfortable being yourself. There?s no rush and no pressure to share more than you?re ready for. We?ll move at a pace that feels steady and respectful of where you are.

I?ll invite you to talk about what led you to reach out and what you?re hoping for, and I?ll listen with care and curiosity. You can expect me to be gentle as I get to know you, the important relationships in your life, and what you?ve been carrying?both the hard moments and the meaningful ones. This helps us begin to understand what?s been shaping your experiences and how things have come to feel the way they do.

I?ll also share a bit about how I tend to work together with people, so you have a clear sense of what our time might look like. You?re always welcome to ask questions, name concerns, or simply notice how it feels to be in the room with me.

More than anything, the first session is about getting a feel for one another and beginning to build a sense of safety and connection. By the end, my hope is that you?ll feel a bit more supported, a bit less alone, and have a clearer sense of whether working together feels like the right fit.
