My Approach to Therapy

No one is ever taught how to be married, so it's not surprising that the divorce rate is so high. I believe my job is to teach couples the skills of a happy marriage so they can have a chance at success. There are four pillars for a happy marriage: communication, regulation, prioritization, and intimacy.

My Practice & Services

I currently only offer couples retreats because they are generally far more effective than traditional therapy. This approach is not covered by insurance, and for the best results, couples should show up with an open mind, open heart, and ready for the emotional work.

My View on the Purpose of Psychotherapy

Therapy should prepare people to not need therapy.
