My Approach to Therapy

Racing thoughts, emotional fatigue, rejection sensitivity, irritability; anxiety and attention-deficit hyperactivity (ADHD) can feel like running on fumes, even if it looks like you’re doing great. Whether you're in Chicago as a creative, perfectionist, parent, or recent grad, losing your focus to burnout, or feeling trapped by old cycles and your harsh inner critic, you don't have to navigate this exhaustion alone. Together, we can work through and reduce the overwhelm. I can help you slow down, ground yourself, process past events, regulate your nervous system, and transform frustrating habits into sustainable routines for more joy and fulfillment in your life. My approach is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I don't use a one-size-fits-all model. Instead, we combine deep, insight-oriented exploration with practical tools. By blending conversational, client-centered therapy with structured cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) strategies and motivational tools, we focus on what truly matters to you while building genuine, long-lasting change. Before becoming a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I traveled the world as a videographer for Planet Earth. Being behind the lens taught me patience, deep observation, and a profound curiosity for the stories that connect us. Today, I bring that same open, nonjudgmental presence to therapy. I would love to connect for a free consultation call to see if we're a good fit! Please visit my website to use my online booking platform for a consultation call or initial session. I look forward to connecting!
