My Approach to Therapy
Im glad youre here. Deciding to begin therapy is a meaningful step, whether youre still exploring the idea or ready to make changes. At Tranquil Wellness, we meet you where you are and support your process with compassion, patience, and understanding. My approach is integrative and tailored to each persons unique needs. I draw from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and I can also incorporate faith-based perspectives when thats important to you.
In our work together, we may incorporate mindfulness, humor, and practical strategies to help challenge unhelpful thoughts, behaviors, and patterns. Recognizing the importance of the mind-body connection, I also see spirituality and your own faith as tools that can support personal growth and healing.
I focus on building on each clients strengths and meeting you at your level of readiness and emotional development. My goal is to create a supportive, collaborative space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. I look forward to supporting you on your journey.
