My Approach to Therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I believe you deserve a space where you can be honest about what you're experiencing, feel understood without judgment, and work through challenges at your own pace. I often work with adults who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, past experiences, or life changes. Sometimes, you may understand why you feel a certain way but still struggle to change the patterns that keep you feeling stuck. Together, we'll explore those patterns, build a better understanding of yourself, and identify what can help you move forward. I also incorporate EMDR to help clients process difficult experiences that may continue to affect their lives today. I tailor my approach to your individual needs because I believe therapy should be about you, not a one-size-fits-all treatment plan. My goal is to help you move beyond simply getting through each day and begin feeling more connected to yourself and the life you want to live. You don't have to have all the answers when you start. We'll figure things out together, one step at a time.

My Practice & Services

The Quietory Counseling & Wellness offers a supportive, judgment-free space for individuals seeking meaningful change and a better understanding of themselves. Our approach is grounded in compassion, collaboration, and trauma-informed care, with an emphasis on helping clients navigate life's challenges in a way that feels manageable and meaningful. We offer virtual counseling for adults in Pennsylvania, with services tailored to individual needs and goals. Areas of focus include anxiety, complex trauma, mood disorders, life transitions, and relationship challenges. EMDR therapy is also available for clients who may benefit from processing distressing experiences and the lasting effects of trauma. In addition to individual therapy, The Quietory offers couples counseling, clinical supervision, and access to lower-cost counseling options with supervised graduate-level clinicians when available. We strive to make care approachable while maintaining a commitment to ethical, individualized, and high-quality services. Our philosophy is simple: you don't have to navigate everything on your own. We aim to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and supported as you work toward healing, growth, and a greater sense of well-being.

Groups I Work With

I work primarily with adults navigating anxiety, complex trauma, mood disorders, and major life transitions. I enjoy supporting individuals who feel overwhelmed, struggle with people-pleasing or setting boundaries, or find themselves repeating patterns shaped by past experiences. I also work with clients who are navigating relationship challenges, identity development, self-esteem, and the process of reconnecting with themselves after difficult experiences. My approach is trauma-informed, affirming, and individualized. I strive to create a space where clients from diverse backgrounds feel respected, understood, and supported as they work toward meaningful change.
