My Approach to Therapy

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, especially when you’ve been carrying things on your own for a long time. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, supported, and genuinely accepted without judgment. I believe healing happens through authentic connection, compassion, and feeling truly heard. I work with teens and adults navigating trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, identity exploration, life transitions, and self-worth struggles. I am LGBTQ+ affirming and committed to providing a supportive environment where clients can show up fully as themselves and feel respected in their experiences and identities. My approach to therapy is trauma informed, collaborative, and grounded in empathy. I recognize how past experiences can shape the way we relate to ourselves, others, and the world around us. Together, we’ll work to better understand your experiences, build healthier coping strategies and boundaries, and move toward a life that feels more grounded and meaningful. I see therapy as more than symptom reduction. It can be a place to reconnect with yourself, process painful experiences, strengthen relationships, and create lasting change. Wherever you are in your journey, you do not have to navigate it alone.
