What's My Approach to Therapy?

Therapy for people with tender hearts and sensitive souls. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)) who specializes in highly sensitive people (HSPs), I see high sensitivity as a gift, not a flaw. People who are highly sensitive often struggle to trust themselves and may deal with low self-esteem, high self-doubt, and intense insecurities. They can feel broken or defective, and they often feel misunderstood. HSPs are wired differently. We feel more. We sense more. We are deeply attuned to both our internal and external worlds. Our sensitivity brings so many gifts, and it can also make life’s ups and downs harder than they need to be. I offer therapy support for a variety of challenging life experiences, including grief and loss, anxiety, depression, major life changes, and relationship issues, all through the lens of high sensitivity. You deserve a therapist who understands what being highly sensitive feels like. That’s what I’m here for.
