What's My Approach to Therapy?

Feel stuck, triggered, or numb? You might look fine on the outside, but inside you feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or constantly on edge. I help adults who are navigating the long-term effects of trauma, anxiety, or emotionally immature parents reconnect with themselves and their lives. Through deep, trauma-informed therapy, you can find clarity, calm, and a stronger sense of control.

I specialize in working with individuals experiencing complex posttraumatic stress (CPTSD), posttraumatic stress (PTSD), and complex trauma, including survivors of sexual assault, narcissistic abuse, childhood emotional neglect, and chronic invalidation. If you struggle with panic, self-doubt, emotional shutdown, or feeling like you can’t trust yourself, you’re not alone. Therapy can help you feel grounded and whole again.

My approach blends evidence-based tools and deep healing. I use eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), mindfulness, and self-compassion practices to help you understand your emotional triggers, break old patterns, and build emotional regulation. Our work is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your needs. You don’t have to just survive — healing is possible.

My Practice & Services

I’m deeply passionate about guiding adults through meaningful healing journeys—especially those affected by trauma, OCD, and emotional overwhelm. My approach blends evidence-based therapies like EMDR, CBT, DBT, mindfulness, and self-compassion to create a safe, collaborative space where you can explore your triggers, develop resilience, and build confidence.

I believe that real growth comes from going beneath the surface—helping you understand yourself more fully, heal old wounds, and cultivate deeper, more authentic connections with yourself and others. Whether you’re working through anxiety, past trauma, or patterns that hold you back, my goal is to support you in reclaiming your life with compassion and insight.

I offer virtual sessions across Texas with a focus on private-pay clients, alongside a limited number of insurance slots. Therapy with me is tailored to your unique needs and paced to honor your readiness for change.

On the Fence About Going to Therapy?

If you're on the fence about starting therapy, you're not alone. It can be hard to open up, especially if you're used to handling things on your own or minimizing your pain. But therapy doesn't have to mean something is "wrong" with you, it can be a space to understand yourself more deeply, break old patterns, and finally feel more like you.

You don't have to commit to a long process right away. Sometimes just showing up once is the start of real change. If you're curious, hesitant, or unsure, that's okay, we can start from there.

Groups I Work With

I work primarily with adults facing the lasting effects of trauma, including PTSD and Complex PTSD, as well as individuals struggling with obsessive-compulsive condition (OCD) and anxiety. Many of my clients have experienced sexual assault, traumatic events, loss, or narcissistic abuse—whether in romantic relationships or growing up with emotionally immature parents. I also support those dealing with emotional overwhelm, panic attacks, low self-esteem, and challenges around trust. My clients are often ready to engage in deep, insight-driven work to identify their triggers, develop effective coping strategies, and build healthier, more fulfilling relationships.
