My Approach to Therapy

I am a Singapore-based counsellor who believes that healing doesn’t come from “fixing” yourself, but from understanding yourself more deeply. I work with adults who may appear to be coping on the outside, yet feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected within, often due to difficult relationships (or loss of relationships, including loss of pets), workplace stress, or past experiences. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed modalities. I am particularly passionate about supporting individuals recovering from toxic environments, rebuilding self-confidence, and learning to set healthier boundaries. I offer a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore their thoughts and emotions at their own pace, while also developing practical tools for everyday life.

My Practice & Services

I bring over two years of experience in counselling and over 10 years of experience in corporate HR. This gives me a blend of real-life working experience as well as clinical insights that I bring into the session. I transitioned into counselling because it gave me a greater sense of purpose and meaning to work with individuals on day-to-day challenges and life struggles.

My Role as a Therapist

My clinical approach is collaborative and compassionate, and I use trauma and attachment focus. I use clinical-based interventions and evidence-based theories, so things like CBT, EMDR, SFBT, and I continue to grow, I keep adding new skills, new modalities to my expertise. So I really believe in continuing growth and using the best possible modality for my clients.
