My Approach to Therapy
I believe deep healing happens in relationship. What is often wounded through relationships can be healed through a safe, attuned, and authentic relationship. Because of this, I approach counseling as a genuine relationship, not a sterile transaction. I want you to feel seen, known, and safe, while also knowing that our work together is thoughtful, clinically grounded, and appropriately boundaried.
My approach blends clinical skill with authentic human connection. You won’t find a therapist hiding behind a clipboard or simply checking off symptoms. You’ll find an engaged, present person who will walk alongside you with warmth, steadiness, and sound clinical judgment. I care deeply about the stories people carry into the counseling room because pain is not theoretical; it is lived. Together, we’ll slow down, connect the dots, and explore the experiences, relationships, and patterns that have shaped you.
Counseling with me is designed to go deeper than symptom relief, and toward meaningful, lasting change. Our work may, at times, be challenging, but I believe transformation happens when we are willing to be honest, curious, and engaged in the process. My hope is to help you heal from the past, experience greater freedom in the present, and create a more meaningful future.
