My Approach to Helping
Clients who come to me often struggle with serious mental illness (anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, personality disorder, and psychosis), as well as general mental health issues such as family conflict, marital distress, low self-image, spiritual issues and identity confusion. I also work with families with members on the autism spectrum. I will help you resolve interpersonal conflicts first and move outward to address family, relational, social, cultural and spiritual functioning. My long-term goal in working with you will be to help you become your best self and walk out your purpose.
I specialize in Christian counseling. I incorporate various models such as trauma-informed therapy, mindfulness, cognitive and dialectical behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing to name a few. I rely on biblical principles of healing, deliverance and recovery.
