My Approach to Therapy

I’d love to support you in being your most authentic self and enhancing the fulfillment you experience in life, whatever that means to you! Thank you for stopping by my page! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and my approach to helping can be characterized as warm, personable, and super collaborative. I prioritize our therapeutic relationship and keep your needs and goals as the central focus. You are the expert on your own life and what you want it to look like, and I feel incredibly honored to walk alongside you and support those pursuits in whatever way I can. I know you possess the power to heal, grow, and thrive, and my role is to help you access that power. I take a holistic approach to therapy, recognizing that only part of our healing and growth takes place in our brain. I have extensive training in brainspotting, which is a deeper brain-body processing modality that allows us to identify, process, and release neurophysiological sources of our internal challenges. I also employ acceptance and commitment therapy strategies to help you respond to your internal experiences in a more organic, values-aligned manner, and I incorporate internal family systems techniques to facilitate deeper understanding, acceptance, and collaboration among the different parts inside of you and your core self.
