Candace Bennett, LMHC Founder and Therapist of Empower Psychotherapy Welcome—I’m Candace Bennett, a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) and founder of Empower Psychotherapy. My passion lies in helping individuals and couples navigate the complexities of healing, relationships, and personal growth. I believe that every person holds the capacity for change, and that with the right support, healing can become a deeply transformative experience. At Empower Psychotherapy, my mission is to help clients move from survival to empowerment—to transform pain into purpose, and reconnect with their sense of self and possibility. I specialize in working with women’s issues, trauma, anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges, including couples navigating disconnection, conflict, and trust concerns. My approach is compassionate yet direct, helping clients gain insight into emotional patterns while developing practical tools for resilience and connection. At the heart of my practice, there is a deep respect for the courage it takes to face pain and vulnerability. I provide a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients can feel seen, understood, and supported as they work toward healing from past wounds and creating a more fulfilling present.
