Life brings challenges, and mine have shaped who I am as a person and a therapist. After experiencing a significant loss, I found myself feeling emotionally drained, uncertain about my future, and navigating life as a single mom. Through therapy, I began to recognize my own strengths and rediscover my sense of purpose. After two years of reflection and growth, I pursued a Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix, graduating in 2015. My career began in an inpatient drug and alcohol rehabilitation center, where I spent six rewarding years helping individuals reclaim their lives and move toward recovery. In 2021, I took a leap of faith and founded Discover You Counseling, creating a space where I could connect more personally with clients in my community. It has been one of the most fulfilling decisions of my life.

In my practice, I use trauma-focused approaches, including Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), to help clients navigate trauma, anxiety, grief, and other challenges. My goal is to walk alongside you as you rediscover your strengths, heal from life’s wounds, and embrace your authentic self.
