She manages and treats a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, mood-related challenges, and trauma-related concerns. She is passionate about providing the highest quality behavioral and medical care. Cameron approaches each person as an individual, meeting them where they are while educating, supporting, and guiding them to reach their highest potential through therapy and medication management. Cameron completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) at Rush University, and her doctoral studies focused on improving negative affect among veterans with posttraumatic stress (PTSD) through the implementation of a protocolized Yoga Nidra meditation group. Cameron’s exceptional clinical skills are coupled with a natural ability to build rapport with patients and families, creating a safe space for patients to share and grow. In addition to medication management, she incorporates trauma-informed (TIF), emotionally focused (EFT), and person-centered (PCT) techniques into treatment, while utilizing a dynamic blend of motivational interviewing (MI) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
