What's My Approach to Therapy?
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck in your thoughts, emotionally drained, or weighed down by chronic pain, illness, stress, or life changes, you’re not alone. Many of the people I work with come to therapy unsure how to move forward and simply wanting to feel more like themselves again.
My goal is to offer you a space where you feel supported, heard, and never judged. I believe trust, acceptance, and genuine connection are at the heart of good therapy. I want you to feel comfortable being yourself and talking openly about what you’re carrying.
My approach is compassionate, practical, and collaborative. Together, we work to understand the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, whether that is anxiety, depression, overthinking, emotional pain, or the mental toll of physical pain and life stressors. I integrate cognitive behavioral therapy, mindfulness, and a person-centered approach to help you feel calmer, more grounded, and better equipped to cope.
I have experience helping individuals with anxiety, depression, chronic pain and illness, injury recovery, life transitions, and some of the emotional struggles that can come with aging. I also offer a free first session so we can meet and see if I feel like the right fit for you, because the relationship we build is one of the most important parts of therapy.
You do not have to carry this alone. I’m here to help you move forward with more support, clarity, and confidence.
My Practice & Services
In my practice, I take a personalized, collaborative approach to therapy, meeting each client where they are and tailoring support to their unique experience. My work is grounded in a person-centered foundation, while integrating cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and practical coping strategies to help clients create meaningful change.
One area I have developed a strong focus in is supporting individuals living with chronic pain and chronic illness. In my work, I have supported clients navigating a wide range of medically complex conditions, including long-standing back and spinal issues, post-surgical pain, nerve-related conditions, injury recovery, cancer-related pain, and mobility limitations. I have also worked with individuals experiencing conditions such as CRPS, autoimmune disorders, neurological challenges, and pain following accidents or repeated trauma.
What I often see is that pain does not only affect the body. It can impact mood, identity, relationships, and overall quality of life. Many clients come in feeling frustrated, overwhelmed, or disconnected from the life they once knew.
My role is to help clients better understand the connection between physical pain and the emotional experience that often accompanies it. Together, we work to reduce the mental and emotional burden of pain, build effective coping strategies, and gradually re-engage in meaningful activities. Clients often report feeling more supported, more in control, and better equipped to navigate both the physical and emotional aspects of their experience.
In addition to chronic pain and illness, I work with individuals facing anxiety, depression, life transitions, and stress-related challenges. My goal is to provide a supportive, practical, and non-judgmental space where clients can process what they are going through and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.
I offer individual therapy sessions via telehealth, with flexible scheduling and a commitment to making care accessible whenever possible.
