What's My Approach to Therapy?
Hello! My name is Brittany Parsons and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in the Westminster, Colorado area. I work with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with teenagers (12 and older) through older adults and specialize in depression, anxiety, attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), grief and trauma. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and a person-centered, eclectic and solution focused approach to therapy.
My communication style is calm, supportive, assertive, and relational. I like to get to know clients before we jump into therapy right away. I strive to make clients feel like I am a safe space and that I will listen without judgement.
