What's My Approach to Therapy?
Hi, I am Brenda Hubbard. I am a licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Addiction Counselor. I received my master's from Walden University. I belong to NASW and NAADAC, and I'm guided by strict ethical guidelines. Are you struggling with addiction, trauma, relationships, or not sure? Are there times when you feel down or anxious? We are on a journey to discover ourselves. I am here to help you feel empowered, whether you are a teen or an adult. I am certified in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing) to help individuals heal from distress caused by a trauma or disturbing life experience, which is also helpful with pain management. My specialties include depression, anxiety, and bipolar. Are you ready to change? What will your journey look like?
My Guiding Ethical Principles
I ground my personal and professional conduct in a strong moral compass, shaped by the core values and ethical standards of the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) and the National Association for Alcoholism and Drug Abuse Counselors (NAADAC). These guiding frameworks inform my commitment to service, integrity, social justice, respect for the dignity and worth of every person, and the importance of human relationships.
I strive to uphold the highest standards of ethical practice by promoting client autonomy, practicing cultural humility, maintaining professional boundaries, and honoring confidentiality. I approach each individual with compassion, accountability, and a trauma-informed lens, while advocating for equitable access to care and holistic support.
My work is driven by a dedication to do no harm, to foster empowerment, and to walk alongside clients in a manner that reflects ethical responsibility, clinical excellence, and human dignity.
