My Approach to Helping
Does life sometimes feel impossible when going through one of the most challenging, perhaps darkest of times? Is there just one or a million reasons why life may feel so daunting and exhausting? Do you feel lost, stuck, lonely, stressed, sad or anxious?
Critical times are hard to deal with, especially when feeling lonely, lost, stuck, frustrated and or hurt. Through my own journey in life, I have acquired the belief that there are a million possibilities to help us overcome whatever we are struggling through. As a therapist, I have witnessed individuals go from feeling completely hopeless to feeling authentically hopeful.
I feel grateful and have great compassion every time I meet the stranger who comes to me for support and guidance in one of the most difficult times of their lives. Therapy is a journey and can be the most unexpected rewarding experience. I would be honored to be a part of this journey with you. It is the therapeutic relationship that produces the greatest success for individuals (Whitebourne, 2011). That therapeutic relationship is of utmost importance and what I find to be the most exhilarating.
