The truth is that all of us go through tough times, and there are so many of us who could really benefit from counseling. The Lake Mead Wellness Center is home to eight therapists. Most are eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR) trained and are skilled in many different areas. We are able to offer counseling at a sliding scale if you need financial assistance. Group and individual counseling will be provided for those dealing with areas as depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, abuse, blended family issues, and marriage and parenting struggles. The center's purpose is to bring healing, clarity, and resources to hurting people who want to grow through a variety of methods. Counselors are trained to help in areas including premarital counseling, marriage, depression, anxiety, women's issues, men's issues, physical abuse and sexual abuse, relationship issues, grief, conflict, divorce recovery, addictive behaviors, anger management, trauma, eating dissues, blended family, parenting, mood conditions, and more.
