My Approach to Therapy

As someone who has spent over 27 years working with trauma and loss, I understand how deeply painful life experiences can shape our lives, and I partner with clients to build practical skills and foster meaningful healing. Hello! I am Beverly Bailey, a Licensed Marriage and (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)) and Social Worker. I understand that reaching out for help can feel like an enormous, uncomfortable step. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and respected from the very beginning. I'm dedicated to helping individuals navigate the noise of anxiety, trauma, posttraumatic stress (PTSD), sexual abuse and sexual assault, obsessive-compulsive challenges (OCD), grief and loss, everyday stressors that can overwhelm us, and the weight of depression. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can be your true self.

My Practice & Services

My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to you. I draw from evidence-based practices such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), along with other therapeutic techniques that support growth, resilience, and meaningful change. Therapy can help if you are ready to make a change, simply want to be heard, or you're seeking tools to manage difficult emotions. You don't have to do this alone. I am here to support you. The first step is to schedule an appointment. ****Please note: I only see children ages 8 and under in person. Please do not book telehealth.****
