What's My Approach to Therapy?
If you've hit a point where things have to change—becoming a parent, watching a relationship fray, or feeling old wounds dragging you down—I help you make sense of it and get moving. We work in a calm, relaxed space, thinking together about what actually matters to you. My style is direct but not bossy: you talk openly, we sort through things to get to what's actually going on, and start building a life that fits who you are.
I'm a native Oregonian who came to this work after years of trying to understand my own life, relationships, and questions of meaning. I've struggled with fantastic disappointments, and that history keeps me grounded. You already know a lot. Our work sharpens what you know so you can live with steadiness and purpose.
I work with men, new fathers, couples, and people carrying trauma who are tired of dragging old baggage around and are ready to get going. I'm trained in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and I don't waste time—we stay focused on what helps. I'm looking forward to hearing from you. Call me for a free 15-minute consultation to see if we're a good fit.
