My Approach to Therapy

What I Love about Being a Psychotherapist

Nothing energizes me more than having moments of authentic connection with others...those moments that cause you to breathe a sigh of relief knowing that you aren't alone in what you're going through. I've learned that life can be both messy and beautiful, can lead you to feel both broken and hopeful, can be both gut-wrenching and empowering, sometimes separately, and sometimes all at once. In both my personal and professional relationships, I've also had the opportunity to witness the incredible resiliency that individuals demonstrate despite the painful experiences they've faced, and I've learned first-hand the importance of having support to work to heal from these events. I've learned the power of authentic connection with others and have witnessed emotional pain becoming easier to face when you're not facing it alone.
