My Approach to Therapy

When life has been hard for a long time, it can be difficult to believe things could feel different. Healing is possible, for you and for your family, and we can do this work in English or en español. I offer compassionate, trauma-informed therapy for children, teens, adults, and families. My background spans community mental health, hospice, child welfare, and intensive family-based services. I have worked closely with young people facing high-risk situations, immigrant families, survivors of sexual assault and interpersonal violence, and families navigating complicated systems. I am fluent in both English and Spanish, and I value meeting each family within their own culture and story. In our work together, I use cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)-informed skills, motivational interviewing, and family systems approaches, always grounded in your strengths. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, grief, trauma, or conflict at home, my goal is to give you a safe place to be heard and practical steps toward healing.
