My name is Barbara Sims-King. I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and pastoral counselor with over 20 years of experience. I have success working with those who are suffering from the effects of depression, anxiety, anger, trauma, and grief. My current focus is with men aged 18 and up, gaining emotional insight into life's challenges. When life gets the "better" of us, it may appear that life has won the fight and we have lost. Life is not the enemy, life is just life, and as a counselor, I find that my job is to lift up hope as a beacon light to those seeming to be floundering in a sea of circumstances.
