What's My Approach to Therapy?
Many teens and adults grow up believing they’re “too much,” “too scattered,” or “not enough.” If you’ve carried the weight of childhood trauma, anxiety, or the shame that often shadows attention-deficit hyperactivity (ADHD), you may have learned to shrink yourself or work twice as hard just to feel okay. These early experiences can also shape how you see your body—creating patterns of self-criticism, comparison, or never feeling fully comfortable in your own skin. I help clients untangle these stories so they can feel grounded, understood, and at home in themselves.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. Together, we look at the places where past experiences shaped your beliefs about safety, worthiness, and identity. Whether you’re navigating chronic anxiety, body-image struggles, perfectionism, or the long-term impact of being misunderstood growing up, therapy offers a space to slow down and heal.
I work with teens and adults who want to process trauma, quiet shame, understand their attention-deficit hyperactivity (ADHD), and build a more compassionate relationship with both their inner world and their body. In our work, you can expect a blend of insight, emotional processing, and practical strategies—always paced gently and collaboratively.
