My Approach to Therapy

I am a therapist specializing in social-emotional health for children, adolescents, and parents, providing online therapy across Ontario. Over the past 10 years, Ive had the privilege of working with children and adolescents to support their social-emotional health and well-being. I help parents navigate a range of parenting challenges. I teach them how to best support their childs development from toddlerhood and beyond. Ive worked in a number of different settings, including hospitals, schools, community mental health clinics, and private practice. I currently own a virtual practice where I offer social-emotional assessment, individual therapy, and parent consultation to families throughout the province. My approach is evidence-based, while also building on each clients unique strengths and needs. I focus on creating a strong therapeutic bond in an environment where children and parents feel comfortable and at ease. My goal is to provide clients with tools for their toolbox so they can move forward in their lives and navigate the bumps along the way. If youre looking for parenting support or help for your child, please dont hesitate to reach out. I offer 15-minute phone consultations at no charge to help you decide whether Im the best fit for your family and to answer any questions you may have.
