Hello, my name is Dr. April Stallworth, LPC. I am a 20+ year veteran clinician. My specialties include trauma, posttraumatic stress (PTSD), anxiety/depression, family, marital/couples counseling, domestic violence, and non-trauma-focused anxiety. I also specialize in just listening and providing feedback for those who are still working through their wellness journey. I have learned that we may not always have a word for how we feel, but if something is impacting our feelings, then it's okay to get therapy to explore that.

It is a given that some sessions may be challenging due to the sensitive nature of areas that may be highlighted at a given time. My goal is to develop a trusting and mutual rapport in order to keep sessions encouraging, focused, emotionally supportive, and productive. It is also important to infuse humor and moments of reality into sessions. I am direct, but not rude. The goal is not to waste time, but to help ensure that you achieve what you've set out to do.
