Are you a Christian woman, loving someone who keeps breaking you? You pray, forgive, stay loyal, but feel unseen, anxious, or spiritually drained. You were never called to endure harm to prove your faith. The heart of God for you is safety, dignity, and truth. If you are tired of walking on eggshells and calling it long-suffering, there is hope. You can heal, set godly boundaries, reclaim identity, break trauma bonds, and rediscover your voice without abandoning your faith. You do not have to suffer in silence anymore. It is my honor to support women of faith who are actively desiring to heal from destructive relationships. I exclusively treat Christian women, helping them increase self-esteem, reduce codependency, and recover from loss. I love assisting clients to heal from trauma, resolve anger, and find acceptance for unrealized expectations. Christian women with an active faith who have experienced physical, emotional, verbal, andor narcissistic abuse are my primary focus. Part of my journey to becoming a counselor was my own counseling experience at the age of 40. I realized the value of therapy when I needed it myself during a midlife evaluation. What further solidified my pursuit of a counseling education and license was a skills inventory I took in college. Some of my answers reflected that I would be a calming presence in the midst of chaos and a champion for the oppressed. This helped me realize therapy was how I wanted to serve others! I encourage new clients to consider mental health just as important as physical health. While in therapy, I suggest creating an environment that is conducive to healing. I will provide practical suggestions on strategies to carve out time and space for therapy. I open sessions with prayer and share scriptures that are relevant to client counseling goals.

My primary work is with Christian women healing from destructive relationships. We focus on unfulfilled expectations, healing from trauma, processing anger and hurt, resolving guilt, breaking trauma bonds, and establishing healthy boundaries. We explore violations of Gods love and grace. Once treatment begins, clients often improve within two months. I provide therapy handouts, audio files, and videos to keep clients moving toward goals. I treat Christian women (sorry, no men, teens, or couples) in Alabama, Florida, and Nevada. My practice is completely virtual. I meet with clients via HIPAA-compliant, secure video calls.

I believe depression and anxiety are often symptoms of a problem that needs attention. I help clients identify underlying sources that cause emotional distress. We work on treating the root cause, not just the symptoms. I use Spiritually-Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to treat depression, anxiety, relational trauma, and anger. Together, we will explore how thoughts and beliefs influence feelings and behaviors. I will help you dispute false beliefs and replace them with healthy beliefs that align with biblical truth. I use Internal Family Systems therapy to resolve inner conflict that inhibits healing.
