My Approach to Helping

I'm Dr. Antoinette Brunasso, a licensed clinical psychologist practicing in Claremont & Glendale, CA. Each person and relationship has their own unique struggles that they walk with through life. My goal is to support each person on their journey toward creating a solid sense of self and emotional connection.

I believe that getting to know yourself on a deeper level helps you choose the life you wish to live. Asking for help is a courageous act. My role as a psychologist is to create a genuine, safe, supportive, compassionate space where you can build lasting change within yourself and your relationships.
It is my privilege to witness individual and family journeys toward growth and healing. I have experience and training working with families, individual adults, and couples to manage anxiety, grief and loss, life transitions, depression, marriage difficulties, trauma, chronic illness, and behavioral issues.

Our collaborative relationship allows me to get to know you and your relationships, so I can help you build lasting and meaningful life changes. I help my clients through their journeys using a differentiation family systems perspective. Together we will help you achieve and maintain balance so you can live the life you want.

Theoretical Influences that Guide My Work

I primarily work from a Family Systems Orientation, more specifically Differentiation. I am able to use the model, Differentiation, with individual, couples, and families. This model focuses on each individual person creating a more solid sense of self, understanding their reactivity, what their reactivity means to them, what their two choice dilemmas are, and how to best grow and create a lasting profound change in their life. When one person begins the process of growth, this can have a ripple effect to others in their family system.
