My Approach to Helping
Anntoinette Briley received her Masters of Science degree from Troy State University in Phenix City, Alabama. She holds a license as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and certifications as a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a Juvenile Sexual Offender Certified Counselor (JSOCC). Anntoinette works as an Independent Contractor as a Mental Health Counselor. She has over 20 years in the field with an extensive background in the following therapeutic facets of working with adolescents at a group home treatment facility, in-patient psychiatric hospitalization, outpatient substance abuse program, agency for foster children, and nursing home facility to name a few. Her treatment modalities include psychodynamic psychoanalytic therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy. In adjacent to, specialties involving some of the following anxiety, depression, traumaptsd, relationship issues, self-esteem rebuilding, and coping skills. Anntoinette believes in her natural ability to connect with others on a therapeutic emotional level. She strives to be present operating in the here and now; in order to establish a positive non-judgmental rapport with others. Anntoinette has resided in Georgia her entire life, however, her passport has some stamps on it. Some of her favorite destinations are Belize, Costa Maya, Hawaii, and Dominican Republic. She is a member of the Licensed Professional Counselor Association, National Board for Certified Counselors, Multidisciplinary Panel Member of Child Advocacy Center (CAC) and Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.
