What's My Approach to Therapy?
I work best with couples and individuals who are motivated for depth-oriented therapy and ready to engage thoughtfully in the process. Many of my clients are high-functioning professionals, caregivers, or partners who appear "fine" on the outside, but feel stuck in patterns of disconnection, emotional overwhelm, or unresolved trauma. I am a strong fit for those seeking structured, relational, and nervous system-informed care, rather than brief or surface-level therapy.
My clinical background includes advanced training in couples and trauma-focused therapy, with a strong emphasis on relational safety and nervous system regulation. I am trained in Gottman Method couples therapy (Levels 1-3) and eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR). I also integrate attachment-based, internal family systems (IFS)-informed, somatic, and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT)-informed approaches as clinically appropriate.
My work is collaborative, structured, and paced with care. Rather than focusing solely on symptoms, I help clients understand the patterns and protective strategies that shape how they relate to themselves and others. With couples, this often means slowing down reactive cycles, strengthening emotional safety, and supporting repair. With individuals, our work may include trauma processing, nervous system stabilization, and increasing internal clarity and choice.
I value transparency, ethical practice, and thoughtful collaboration. Therapy with me is not rushed or one-size-fits-all, but tailored to each client's goals, history, and readiness.
