What's My Approach to Therapy?

My therapeutic focus is eating-related challenges, including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, orthorexia, avoidant restrictive food intake (ARFID), other specified feeding or eating (OSFED), disordered eating, compulsive exercise and body image concerns. I practice from a Health at Every Size, intuitive eating and anti-diet lens. I also work with dissociative challenges, self-esteem concerns, depression, anxiety, coping skills, trauma and posttraumatic stress (PTSD). I specialize in treating adults ages 20 to 40. My goal is to empower you to write the next chapter of your life. I’m a therapist specializing in parts work, rapid eye movement therapy, harm reduction and attachment work. I am certified in eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), which is an evidence-based modality for trauma therapy and posttraumatic stress (PTSD) therapy. I love helping clients identify their goals, develop a treatment plan and guide them through each phase of trauma counseling. Starting therapy is difficult. I’m happy to talk over any concerns or fears you may have.
