I view therapy as a collaborative process in which you are the expert on your own life, and my role is to gently guide you through self-exploration in order to cultivate healing and fulfillment, improve emotional regulation and coping abilities, and improve interpersonal functioning and quality of life. My clinical approach is multicultural, feminist, systemic, and trauma-informed - allowing for clients' respective identities and lived experience within complex social systems to be reflected throughout the entire therapeutic process. I prefer to take an integrative approach to treatment, incorporating my therapeutic approach to the individualized needs of each client. Certain therapeutic modalities that we might use together include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Psychodynamic, and solution-focused therapies.
