What's My Approach to Therapy?
I am a psychotherapist with offices in Pasadena and San Dimas, treating teens who struggle with anxiety about the future and career choices, dating concerns, self-esteem challenges, or feelings of depression and worthlessness. I specialize in helping adolescents prepare for the transition into college and young adulthood, providing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other skills to strengthen their ability to cope, and teaching things like assertive communication, mindfulness, and setting appropriate boundaries. My clients are teens who want to gain more confidence, self-love, and peace. My clients are generation Z and Generation Alpha, who often desire to reduce overthinking, worrying, and self-judgment.
I will create a safe and judgment-free therapy space for teens to explore thoughts, emotions, and personal experiences in order to create healthier ways to respond to life stressors and develop ways to improve self-esteem, increase self-awareness, and maintain positive relationships. I provide an eclectic and holistic approach rooted in attachment theory.
If you're a young adult or teen who is stressed about the future or going through something difficult that's hard to talk about, you don't have to go through it alone. I would be honored to be a source of support for you during a time when you need it most. You can feel happier and more confident, and psychotherapy sessions can help you achieve that peace.
