As a mindfulness-based practitioner specializing in the treatment of depression, anxiety, and trauma, my goal is to offer the quality of service that I would seek as a client. I use counseling practices that are based in research. However, I also move flexibly between approaches depending upon the unique needs of my clients. These approaches include internal family systems, somatic psychology, narrative therapy, and psychodynamic therapy. Your goals are the most important element of change, and I see counseling as an active collaboration in this process. I offer a warm, relaxed, and open environment, but am also engaged and conversational in style.
