I teach mindfulness techniques as tools ease anxiety & depression. Mindfulness is paying attention to our present moment experiences with curiosity and a willingness to be with what is. It is in this moment where we learn to connect to our bodies, tend to our emotions, and take care of ourselves. I will not only help you identify the symptoms of trauma, but teach you how to regulate your nervous system and build internal resources that allow you to feel safe again. I can also use various somatic and brain based therapies to help heal trauma including somatic experiencing and brain-spotting that help build new neural pathways to help heal your body and mind.
